The purpose of a public rosary is to gather people in a community setting to pray the Rosary together, which is a form of devotion in the Catholic faith. Public rosaries can encourage others to join in prayer and deepen their own devotion to the Virgin Mary and the mysteries of Christ's life. It is also a way to share and spread the tradition of the Rosary. Overall, the public rosary is a communal act of faith that has both personal and collective benefits, enriching the spiritual lives of those involved and helping to spread the message of Christianity.

Honoring Life and Faith: A Commitment to Pro-Life Ministry
At St. Bernadette Church, we are deeply blessed to witness the unwavering dedication of our community to the sanctity of life. The Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas have shown remarkable leadership in fostering a culture of life and compassion within our parish.
Their efforts have culminated in the beautiful Memorial of the Unborn Child, which now stands as a sacred place of remembrance, healing, and prayer for the lives lost to abortion and miscarriage. This monument reflects our collective commitment to honoring the dignity of every human life, from conception to natural death.
We give thanks for the Knights, the Catholic Daughters, Father Andre’ Melancon and all parishioners whose prayers, sacrifices, and hard work made this memorial possible. May it serve as a beacon of hope and a reminder of God’s love for every soul. Let us continue to unite in prayer and action, reaffirming our commitment to protecting and cherishing the gift of life.
St. Bernadette, pray for us!
