The Knights of Columbus Catholic Youth Leadership Award (CYLA) is a prestigious scholarship program that recognizes outstanding Catholic High School students who live their faith through leadership, service, and academic excellence. While the application includes written responses, CYLA is much more than an essay—it evaluates the whole person, including church involvement, community service, and character making this a meaningful opportunity to honor and support young Catholic leaders.

Nearly 50 Catholic men gathered Tuesday night, July 29 at St. Bernadette in Houma for a powerful COR event, united in brotherhood, prayer, and a deeper pursuit of Christ.
These men aren’t just meeting—they’re building each other up in faith, striving to be better husbands, fathers, and leaders in our Church and community.
So the next time you see or hear about the Knights of Columbus, remember this: behind the name are real men, rooted in faith, committed to service, and striving for holiness.
